The new-look Sevilla left it late, but a 3-0 win over Mladost Podgorica set them on their way for a place in the play-off stage. Negredo's replacement Bacca paid off the first part of his transfer fee with the opening goal, controlling a Rakitic cross on his chest before firing a shot past the keeper with less than twenty minutes gone. However despite several chances, the Andalusians didn't add to their scoreline until ten minutes from the end, when Perotti converted a penalty after Sofranac handled inside the area. With the game in injury time though another new signing Carriço headed the third from Rakitic's corner, and with a clean sheet for Beto in to the bargain, Emery's side should have little problem wrapping things up in the return leg in Montenegro next Thursday.
