Spain 6 - South Korea 1

Salzburg, Austria. Spain thrashed South Korea 6-1 in their second warm-up game for the upcoming European finals, with Nolito and Morata scoring two goals each. Del Bosque had confirmed his final squad of 23 the day before, but was still missing the four players who took part in the Champions League final. Casillas, Piqué, Iniesta and Morata came back in to the starting line-up though, and Iniesta and Bellerín brought good saves out of Kim Jinhyeon before Silva beat him with a curling free kick on the half hour mark, the first goal that the Asian side had let in for ten matches. The keeper was at fault though two minutes later when he spilled a soft ball in to the area under pressure from Morata, and the ball fell to Fàbregas for him to roll a shot in to an empty net. Soon afterwards Nolito cut in to make it three with a shot under Kim’s legs, and a minute after the restart half time substitute Thiago fired a long free kick past everyone in to the net, only for the referee to rule it out for the positional offside of a colleague. Almost immediately though Morata got above the keeper to head in Thiago’s corner for the fourth, and Nolito fired in the fifth after Pedro and Bellerín combined to set him up. Casillas did have some saves to make after that before he was replaced by debutant Sergio Rico, and Ju Sejong got a late consolation with a shot which Bruno deflected in to his own net, but with the game coming to an end Morata wrapped things up after battling past the keeper before turning a shot in to the net from a wide angle.
