Real Madrid were held to a 1-1 draw by Tottenham Hotspur in the Bernabeu stadium on Tuesday, the two teams still absolutely level on seven points. Ronaldo headed against the post early on, but Navas had to save from an Eriksen header a hew minutes later, and with just under a half an hour gone Varane turned Aurier’s cross in to his own net under pressure from Harry Kane. With half time approaching though Ronaldo made it all square from the penalty spot after Aurier brought down Kroos in the area, and after the restart both keepers were in action, Lloris saving from Benzema, Ronaldo and Isco, and Navas keeping out Kane and Eriksen later on.
