Atlético Madrid are struggling in the Champions League after they were held to a 0-0 draw at Qarabag in the first match of Wednesday evening, and they are now third in their group with only two points to their name. Carrasco and Griezmann did test local keeper Sahic before the break, and Griezmann in particular went close a couple of times after the break. However after the restart Pedro Henrique and Ndlovu could have given the locals the lead, and with a quarter of an hour to go Godín brought down Ndlovu in the area, only for the referee to show the striker a second yellow card for what he considered to be a dive.
