Atlético Madrid kept their slim hopes of qualifying alive with a 2-0 victory over Roma on Wednesday evening. Griezmann and Gameiro got the goals after the interval, but Simeone’s side still need to win at Chelsea and hope that Qarabag can at least get a point at Roma in a fortnight’s time, otherwise they will have to make do with the Europa League this season.
