Spanish World Cup squad

Spain manager Julen Lopetegui named his 23 man squad for the World Cup today. There was no room for the likes of Morata, Illarramendi, Bartra, Marco Alonso etc., although the only possible surprise was the inclusion of Arsenal’s Monreal. Spain have two friendly fixtures against Switzerland and Tunisia before the competition kicks off, and with the six Real Madrid players unavailable at first due to the Champions League final, the coach has called up seven youngsters to train with the squad, Yeray, Unai Nuñez, Jesús Vallejo, Rodri, Carlos Soler, Williams and Oyarzabal.
