The new season has begun already, Athletic Bilbao drawing 1-1 at Dinamo Bucharest in the first leg of their Europa League qualifier. Laporte headed the opener following a Beñat corner in the twentieth minute, and Kuko Ziganda’s side could have extended their lead before the break. However half time substitute Rivaldinho (son of ex Barça forward Rivaldo) fired home the equalizer soon after the restart, and the locals could have won it had Nemec not have a strike ruled out for a borderline offside, and had Herrerín not kept out a couple of efforts later on.
