Barcelona virtually sealed their place in this season’s Champions League final after a 3-0 victory over Liverpool on Wednesday night! Luis Suárez connected with Jordi Alba’s centre to open the scoring midway through the first half, but Ter Stegen had to make first class saves from Milner and Salah after the break to keep his side ahead. Messi scored twice though in the last quarter of an hour, the first after a Luis Suárez shot came off the bar, and the second with a majestic free kick, his 600th goal for the club. Jurgen Klopp’s side could have got a vital away goal late on however, Rakitic clearing off the line from Firmino and Salah hitting the upright, but substitute Dembélé wasted a chance to increase the lead further with the game coming to an end.
