Betis clocked up their first win in the Europa League after beating Dudelange, the first team from Luxembourg ever to reach the group stage of a European competition. The Andalusians dominated the first half, but the visitors tested Joel a couple of times on counter-attacks. Soon after the restart though Sarabia opened the scoring with a header which came off the bar just over the line, and Lo Celso and Tello added two more in the last ten minutes for what was in the end a flattering 3-0 result.
