Sevilla stay at the top of their group, level with Krasnodar on points, after a 2-3 victory at Akhisar. The Andalusians appeared to be on track for a win after Nolito and Muriel put them two up at the break. However Manu got one back after the restart, and the visitors were left with ten men when Sergi Gómez picked up a second booking after giving away a penalty on Manu. Guray Vural fired the spot-kick against the post, but Onur Ayik leveled it a few minutes later, and it was only with three minutes to go that Banega converted a second penalty after Miguel Lopes brought down Fernando Vázquez in the area.
