Sevilla are still not through to the knock-out stage after they lost 1-0 at Standard Liège, and they now have to beat Krasnodar in two weeks’ time to be sure of making it into the next round (a win could result in a three way tie on points, in which case the Andalusians would go qualify on goal difference). Djenepo combined with Carcela to score the only goal for the Belgian side midway through the second half, and a few minutes later the visitors were left with ten men when substitute Sarabia picked up two yellow cards in quick succession.
