Betis will join Valencia in the round of 32 after a 1-0 victory over Olympiacos on Thursday! Sergio León had an early chance to put the Andalusians in front after Cisse gave away a penalty on Mandi, but visiting keeper José Sá saved his spot kick, as well as his follow up. With seven minutes to go to the break however, Sanabria set up Canales following a long passing move for the opening goal, and although the visitors went close a couple of times, Sanabria could have added to the scoreline when he hit the crossbar after the break.
