Sevilla came into their last game needing to beat Krasnodar to be sure of qualifying. However within ten minutes they were already well on the way after Ben Yedder scored twice, the first after Roque cut out a poor clearance from keeper Kritsyuk, and the second after running on to a long punt from Sergi Gómez. And some three minutes in to the second half it was all over when Cristian Ramírez was sent off for stopping a Silva header with his upraised hand as it was crossing the line, Banega converting the resulting penalty. Sevilla finish as group champions, and the Russian side are also through after Standard Liège failed to beat Akhisar in the other group tie. .
