Valencia’s chances of reaching the Europa League final are looking slim after they lost 3-1 to Arsenal in their first leg on Thursday. The Ches got off to a good start when Diakhaby headed them into an early lead from Parejo’s corner, but two goals from Lacazette turned the scoreline around before the break. Gameiro failed to convert a couple of chances after the restart, and with the game coming to a close Aubameyang connected with Kolasinac’s cross to make it three. The return leg is in the Mestalla stadium next week.
