Group D matches

Spain were grouped for the finals together with Sweden, who they had already met in the qualifying round. And the other two group D members are also old acquaintances, Russia and Greece both being in their mini-league in the last European Championships four years ago. If they win through though they will be up against tough opposition in the next round, facing one of the sides from group C, which comprises France, Italy, Holland and Romania. (02.12.07)
