Spain are in to a third major final in a row after beating Portugal in a nerve-racking penalty shoot out! There was little to choose between the two sides in 120 minutes of football, and in the shoot-out Rui Patricio and Casillas saved the first two spot-kicks from Xabi Alonso and Moutinho. Bruno Alves fired Portugal's fourth penalty against the bar though, and Fàbregas stepped up to fire his shot in off the post, taking Spain through to Sunday's final against the winner of tomorrow night's semi-final between Germany and Italy.
