Spain's football team are already out of the Olympic games! A second single goal defeat, this time against Honduras, has left Luis Milla's side without any chance of making it through to the knockout stage, and their last match against Morocco will now have little significance. The Central Americans scored early on, Bengtson heading Espinoza's cross past De Gea in only the seventh minute. And although Spain attacked for most of the ninety minutes, this time luck was against them. Mata fired three or four shots wide before the break, Adrián, Muniain and Rodrigo rattled the woodwork after the restart, Adrián and Rodrigo had penalty appeals waved away, and Mendoza pulled off the save of the evening from Rodrigo. No goals though in their first two games, and for once Spain will be going home early.
