Post window transfers

The winter transfer window closed on 31st August, but moves are still allowed in the case of players who are unemployed, or to replace a player with a long term injury. Changes of managers are also allowed to take place at any time during the season. We set out below the movements from the window closure up to the start of the window transfer window, which opens at the beginning of January.

Colour coding: Green - deals completed, but still not closed, or player on trial; Blue - deals closed now, but will take place at a later date; Red - deals closed but subsequently cancelled.

13/10/16 Julio Velázquez Os Belenenses (POR) Alcorcón MG Ex Villarreal & Betis coach takes over at Alcorcón as Contra fired after only nine games in charge.
03/10/16 Lucas Alcaraz No club Granada MG Experienced coach returns for third spell at club after Jémez fired only six games in to the season.
01/10/16 Prandelli (ITA) No club Valencia MG Ex Italy national team coach becomes sixth manager for Peter Lim in two years! Hope he has more luck!

14/09/16 Ryan Babel (HOL) Al-Ain (UAE) Deportivo FW Ex Liverpool & Ajax forward has rescinded contract with Al-Ain, and will be joining Depor subject to medical.
13/09/16 Sergi Guardiola Granada B Adelaide (AUS) FW No room in first team squad due to late signings, so youngster agrees to join coach Guillermo Amor on loan.
08/09/16 José Enrique Liverpool (ENG) Zaragoza DF Had injury problems and was released by Liverpool in May, but signs 2 year deal with Maños as out of work.
04/09/16 José Angulo (ECU) Independiente del Valle (ECU) Granada FW Contract of striker definitively cancelled after B sample confirmed previous positive results for cocaine!
