Racing Santander climbed out of the bottom three after an impressive 4-1 over Osasuna. It has been a good weekend for most of the managers who have been in trouble, none more so than for Miguel Angel Portugal, who saw his Swedish contingent put his team back on track. Kennedy opened the scoring with a furious free kick which Ricardo could only punch in to his own net, and Rosenberg made it two later in the first half with a long shot which curled away from the keeper. Nekounam got one back from the penalty spot just before the hour mark after Torrejón handled in the area. But the defender made up for his mistake, heading across a Kennedy corner for Rosenberg to score his second of the evening soon afterwards, and then completing the scoreline with a header from another Kennedy corner with five minutes to go.
