Osasuna drop in to the bottom three after losing 1-0 at neighbours Real Sociedad, a result which cost the head of coach José Antonio Camacho, who was reportedly fired after the match ended. The first half belonged to the home side, with Tamudo, Zurutuza and Sarpong all failing to find the target. And the pressure continued after the interval, with Ricardo tipping an effort from Tamudo over the bar and then having to save from Griezmann following a short free kick. Nekounam responded midway through the second half with a shot against the crossbar and a header which De la Bella cleared off the line with the keeper beaten. But soon afterwards Tamudo battled through to beat Ricardo at the second attempt and give his side three points which takes them to the brink of the European spots.
