Levante are safe for another season after picking up the point they needed in the next to last round of games. Luis García's side had a difficult visit to city neighbours Valencia, but despite having Xisco Nadal sent off midway through the first half for a late tackle on Soldado they held on for a 0-0 draw. It was a bad tempered match, and players clashed a couple of times before Nadal's red card. Jonas and Caicedo both went close in the first half and Mata had a couple of efforts saved by Munúa after the break, but with Valencia making sure of third spot they settled in the end for a point apiece.
