Real Sociedad are out of the drop zone after a thrilling 2-3 win at Betis in this week's Sunday lunchtime match. Griezmann had fired a first half penalty wide after Casto brought him down in the area, but even so the Basque side scored two in the first twenty minutes of the second half, Agirretxe heading in a Carlos Vela corner and then returning the favour for the Mexican to beat the keeper for a second time. However until Iñigo struck they appeared to have thrown everything away after substitute Jonathan Pereira scored twice in the last ten minutes to make it all square, both from assists by Salva Sevilla. After only picking up one point from their last nine games, the defeat takes the Andalusians to within a point of the relegation spots, and if things don't change soon then coach Pepe Mel will most probably be on his way out.
