Málaga hold on to fourth spot for another week despite a 1-1 draw at home to Zaragoza in this Sunday's mid-day kick-off. Postiga gave the visitors the lead, sweeping a José Fernández cross past Caballero following a short corner, but midway through the first half Isco levelled the scores from the penalty spot after Paredes was adjudged to have deliberately blocked a corner with his arm. A few minutes later Isco hit the bar after another corner came out to him, and Roberto did well to keep out a shot from Jesús Gámez later in the first half. Caballero also had to save from Paco Montañés though before the half time whistle, and soon after the restart Recio hit the post with a free kick, Movilla firing the rebound wide. After that the Maños looked the better side, Caballero keeping out Víctor Rodríguez and Postiga going close, but in the end both teams settled for a point.
