Osasuna move four points clear of the drop zone after a 1-0 victory over Getafe on Saturday evening. The Pamplona based side really needed a win after only picking up two points from their last five games, and they took the control right from the start, Nino heading over the bar with the goal gaping in front of him following a corner, and Armenteros also heading wide a cross from De las Cuevas a few minutes later. Lafita replied for the visitors with a header wide of the post shortly before the break, but soon after the restart Kike Sola headed against the upright, Moyà pushing away the rebound with Nino closing in. Arribas finally got the goal that Osasuna wanted however a quarter of an hour from the end with a header from an Armenteros corner, and Mendilibar closed ranks after that to ensure a win which takes them close to another season in the top flight.
