Levante missed out on place in top six after they lost 0-1 to Granada on Sunday evening, a last minute strike from Piti giving the Andalusians three points which takes them safely up to mid-table. Visiting keeper Roberto got off to a shaky start, dropping an early cross but then recovering to save from Diop, and midway through the first half he kept out an el Zhar penalty after Iturra tripped the ex Liverpool midfielder in the area. Bounanotte brought a good stop out of Keylor Navas at the other end and then fired another effort just wide, but after the restart the locals were on top, Roberto stopping shots from Babá and El Zhar and referee Clos Gómez waving away two penalty appeals. With the game in the closing minutes it was the turn of Navas to save point blank from an El-Arabi header, but Piti finally beat the Costa Rican keeper with a long free kick to give his side their second away win in a row.
