Granada end the weekend just four points above the drop zone after they were beaten 0-2 by Levante on Monday evening. The Andalusians had won their last three home games, and they were amazed and upset when referee Alvarez Izquierdo awarded them an early penalty after David Navarro handled in the area, but then altered his mind after consulting his linesman, changing the decision to a corner. El-Arabi brought a good save out of Keylor Navas later in the first half, but Roberto pushed a shot by Rubén García on to the crossbar shortly before the interval, and three minutes in to the second half Navarro put the visitors ahead with a shot which Roberto could only deflect in to the net after a couple of efforts by Simao had been blocked. Most of the chances after that fell to the visitors, and with two minutes to go Pedro López wrapped things up with an individualist goal to take his side on to forty points, which should see them good for another season in the top flight.
