Up to seven teams are still fighting to avoid the three relegation spots, although Córdoba already look doomed after they lost 0-2 to fellow strugglers Elche in the last match of the day. The Andalusians had only won one match at home all season, and although Fede Cartabia went close early on, they fell behind when Enzo Roco got a slight touch to Edu Albácar’s long free kick to put off keeper Juan Carlos just before the break. Pasalic went close either side of half time, but Krhin headed a long Fede free kick against the post soon after the restart. However Víctor Rodríguez saw his shot headed over the top by a defender at the other end, and from the resulting corner Pasalic headed in the second from the far post. Tyton had to save from Luso, and Fidel turned a shot wide after that, but any hopes of a comeback ended when Borja García was sent off for a retaliatory push on Víctor with ten minutes to go, and his side end the weekend nine points away from safety. Elche however move out of the bottom three as a result of their win.
