Valencia bumped Real Madrid out of the fourth Champions League spot after a thrilling 2-3 victory over Real Sociedad on Sunday evening. Rodrigo and Nacho Vidal twice gave the Ches the lead, but strikes by Aritz Elustondo and Oyarzabal pegged them back both times. Zubeldia and Kondogbia were both sent off, and Zaza got the winner late on to hand the Basque side their third defeat in a row, leaving them outside of the European spots as a result.
