Leganés beat Las Palmas 0-2 on Sunday evening to move back up above Real Sociedad to sixth. Both goals came in the second half, Szymanowski setting up Beauvue and then Eraso to score. Calleri went close a couple of times for the locals, but the Canary Islanders end the day just two points above the drop zone, leaving the job of coach Manuel Márquez hanging by a thread.
