Back after another international break, and two of Argentina's top stars took the headlines this weekend. On Saturday evening Messi extended his lead at the top of our chart with two goals against Racing Santander, and earlier in the day against Betis Higuaín scored his second hat-trick in a row in the league, and his third in two weeks taking in to account the one he scored for his country last weekend. Xavi and Kaká both netted their third of the season as well in those games, and elsewhere Gabilondo, Juanlu, Hemed also joined the group on three goals in all competitions. (19.10.11)
