The Málaga physical trainer was sent to the stands for protesting this weekend, but otherwise there was only one red card for a player, Córdoba’s Borja García getting his marching orders for retaliation against Elche´s Víctor Rodríguez late on in their Sunday night match. He is due to sit out the next round of games together with seven other players who completed the five yellow card cycle, Gabi (Alético – our current leader), Soriano (Almería) and Weligton (Málaga), all of whom received their tenth bookings, and De Marcos (Athletic), Borges (Deportivo), Naldo (Getafe) and Iborra (Sevilla), who were all given their fifth. (14.04.15)

PS The disciplinary committee decided to ban Borja for two games in the end.

(* suspension pending disciplinary meeting decision)
