Three red cards this weekend, including two in the match between Sevilla and Villarreal, Ben Yedder and Jaume Costa both getting their marching orders for second bookable offences. Ben Yedder in particular made a big mistake of applauding the referee in his face after being booked the first time, second yellow and off! He won’t do that again! Getafe’s Flamini was also sent off after picking up a second yellow card against Espanyol, although one of his cards was cancelled by the disciplinary committee on appeal, so he will be available for the midweek games. Another eight players will be out for the week 33 fixtures though after completing the five yellow card cycle, including Hugo Mallo (Celta), Alex Granell (girona) and Kondofbia (Valencia), who were all given their tenth of the season, and Lucas Hernández (Atlético), Javi García (Betis), Pablo Hernández (Celta), Angel (Getafe) and Gabriel Paulista (Valencia), who were all shown their fifth.
