Dani García (Athletic Bilbao) and Soldado (Granada) will both miss the second leg of the cup semi-final after they picked up their third bookings of the tournament on Wednesday. As it happens, both also missed last weekend’s league games as well as they had completed the five yellow card cycle in that competition! Two red cards this weekend, one for Betis striker Borja Iglesias for pushing one of the Leganés coaches into the bench in a heated moment (the “Panda” transforming into a “Grizzly Bear”?), and one for one of old award “Villains” winners Víctor Sánchez (Espanyol), in his case for a second caution.
