We hadn't heard much from our old friend Iturralde González this season, the man who holds the all-time record for the number of red and yellow cards shown. He certainly made up for it though when he officiated the at times bad-tempered game between Barcelona and Sevilla, producing no less than 13 yellows and 3 reds in all. Was it a penalty on Iniesta in injury time? The jury is divided on the fact, but as Varas saved Messi's kick it didn't affect the scoreline, even though it did provoke a bit of "handbags at ten paces" between the players. To paraphrase an old saying they have around here, our Iturralde is more dangerous than a monkey with two loaded pistols! (25.10.11)
