A fairly quiet weekend on the refereeing front, the only controversial decisions a couple of claims for penalties. Barcelona in particular felt hard done by when Jaime Latre turned down two appeals in as many minutes, the first for a possible hand ball by Málaga’s Miguel Torres, and the second for a possible foul on Luis Suárez, but in the end Barça won anyway, so they didn’t protest too much.
