Barcelona and Real Sociedad top the league after week three, although both were given a bit of a push by the men in black to start of their respective victories against Espanyol and Deportivo respectively. Messi’s opener in the Nou Camp was clearly offside, something Gil Manzano and his assistants failed to spot, and Real’s first two goals could also have been ruled out by Munuera Montero, Juanmi in a borderline illegal position when he netted the first, and then possibly interfering with the keeper’s view, also from an offside position, when Illarramendi drilled home the second. Both clocked up comfortable wins though, so maybe it wouldn’t have changed much? (12.09.17)
