If Levante's second place was a major surprise last week, their performance this week was even more sensational! 0-3 away to neighbours Villarreal, and they find themselves top of the charts, with keeper Munúa still riding high in the Zamora table! Last week's leaders Barcelona dropped points at home thanks to a brilliant display by Sevilla keeper Javi Varas, who rounded off his game with a penalty save from Messi. His opposite number Valdés is still level with him in the rankings though, and in minute 57 of the match he beat his own club record of 577 minutes unbeaten in all competitions, now 610 and counting. Only 19 goals in all though this weekend, the lowest of the season, with another seven keepers joining the above three in maintaining clean sheets, Cristian Alvarez (Espanyol), Andrés (Osasuna), Cobeño (Rayo, replacing Dani in the line up), Casillas (Real Madrid), Bravo (Real Sociedad), Juan Pablo (Sporting) and Moyà (Getafe), who returned from injury in place of Codina. One other change as well, Rubén coming in for the suspended Willy Caballero at Málaga, although after letting in six goals in a a game and a half it is very likely that Willy will be back for the midweek match.
