Víctor Valdés let in his first league goals of the season at Valencia, and he has now been joined at the top of our chart by last year's "Zamora", Courtois, and by Diego López, who Ancelotti has said will be his keeper for league games, with Casillas taking over for the Champions League fixtures. They must therefore be the three early candidates for this season's top keeper, although there are other contenders as well, with four of those managing clean sheets this weekend, Guillermo Sara (Betis), Kiko Casilla (Espanyol), Diego Mariño (Valladolid) and Sergio Asenjo (Villarreal). Sevilla's Beto had to miss out this weekend though due to a hip injury, and he was replaced by Javi Varas, and Rayo Vallecano coach Paco Jémez opted for the return of Rubén in place of Cobeño after he let in five last weekend at Atlético.
