What a weekend! No less than 42 goals scored in all, but there were still six clean sheets for our valiant minders! Last week's leader Víctor Valdés came back from Spain's tour of Africa with a calf injury which will keep him out until the new year, but Pinto stepped in ably to help steer Barcelona to a 4-0 win over Granada. Courtois is now level at the top of our chart though after Atlético hammered Getafe 7-0 (spare a thought for poor old Moyà), and Diego López (Real Madrid), Andrés (Osasuna), Beto (Sevilla) and Sergio Asenjo (Villarreal) also managed to keep their goals against columns to zero. Curiously two keepers were sent off after giving away first half penalties, Rayo's Rubén and Levante's Keylor Navas, with Cobeño and Javi Jiménez coming on to replace them. Jiménez had played in the second division for Valladolid and Murcia, but this was his first appearance in the top flight. One other change as well, Diego Alves coming back in for Valencia after Guaita pulled out with a shoulder injury. (26.11.13)
