Few goals at the start of the weekend, although things picked up later on culminating in Eibar’s 5-2 victory over Almería which signalled the end for visiting coach Francisco. Five of this weekend’s six clean sheets though came in the first five games, with Moyà (Atlético), Juan Carlos (Córdoba), Casillas (Real Madrid), Kameni (Málaga) and Beto (Sevilla) all keeping their goals against columns to zero, and Villarreal’s Sergio Asenjo doing likewise later on Sunday evening. Managers though kept faith with their keepers for another week, although most did a give a run out to their number twos in the midweek cup games. (09.12.14)
