Atlético Madrid’s Oblak stays well clear at the top of our chart after clocking up his eleventh clean sheet of the league season in a 1-0 victory over Levante on Saturday evening. Atlético now lead the first division after rivals Barcelona were held to a 0-0 draw at city neighbours Espanyol, the result leaving Simeone’s side two points clear of the Catalans in the table. As well as Oblak, Bravo and Pau López though, only two other keepers didn’t let in any goals, Kameni (Málaga) and Riesgo (Eibar). Celta’s young keeper Rubén Blanco was brought back into the line-up for the match at Málaga, but it was a night to forget for the Spanish under 21 international after he let in two soft goals and then got himself sent off for giving away a penalty on Amrabat. Sergio Alvarez came on for the last quarter of the game to replace him, and immediately saved the striker’s spot kick. (05.01.16)
