Atlético’s Oblak clocked up his 22 nd clean sheet of the current campaign against Málaga at the weekend, beating a club record set by Courtois a couple of years ago. He has still only let in 16 all season, and is closing in on the all-time Liga record set by Deportivo’s Liaño of 18 in 38 matches. Another five “porteros” also kept their goals against columns to zero in the latest round of matches, including Raúl Lizoain (Las Palmas), Bravo (Barcelona), Sergio Rico (Sevilla), Sergio Asenjo (Villarreal) and Rulli (Real Sociedad). Rulli was back after a one match ban, and there were two other goalkeeping changes, Rubén Blanco given another run out for Celta, and Arlauskis replacing Pau López for Espanyol. The ex Watford keeper has hardly played since being signed by Galca in the winter transfer window, but the move backfired as the Catalans let in four at Las Palmas, and they are perilously dropping to within sight of the relegation spots.
