And the big news is that... for the first time in six months our leading “Zamora” Jan Oblak has let in goals in two successive league games! The Atlético keeper was on the wrong side of a 1-0 scoreline for once after his team lost to Sergio Rico’s Sevilla, and they drop down the table from first to fifth as a result! All the other top keepers let in goals as well however, although there were four more clean sheets elsewhere, including a first of the season for Granada’s Ochoa in a 0-0 draw against Cuéllar’s Sporting Gijón. A bit of an improvement on the seven Atleti put past the Mexican number one last week! Rulli (Real Sociedad) and Kameni (Málaga) also kept their goals against columns to zero against Alavés and Leganés respectively to help their sides close in on the European spots. (25.10.16)
