Why is it when you sign a star player for your Fantasy League side that he suddenly starts to fail??? Oblak had only let in two goals in his first seven games, but as soon as the ink was dry on the paper (or should we say the “OK BUY” button was pressed) he sprung more holes than a Swiss cheese! This weekend against Málaga he let in two for the first time this season, and although he stays at the top of our rankings after his closest rival Asenjo did the same, the magic had gone! The up-side is that Atlético are in danger of becoming entertaining after scoring eleven in their last two home games, and the mantle of the boring side who win 1-0 may be passing to Barcelona after they beat bottom club Granada by that scoreline on Saturday. Well, maybe not just yet… Anyway Ter Stegen was one of only three keepers who managed clean sheets this weekend, the others being Real Sociedad’s Rulli and Espanyol’s Diego López. Elsewhere there was one goalkeeping change (the first by any team in three weeks), Tyton making his debut for Deportivo after coach Gaizka Garitano decided to give him a run out in place of Lux.
