A low scoring start to the week 18 fixtures, with six teams failing to find the net in the four games on Saturday. There were clean sheets for Champagne (Leganés), Iraizoz (Athletic), Ter Stegen (Barcelona), Moya (Atlético), Tyton (Deportivo) and Sergio Asenjo (Villarreal) ,and later in the weekend Rubén Blanco (Celta) and Rulli (Real Sociedad) also kept their goals against columns to zero. Iraizoz was replacing the injured Kepa in the starting line up, and there were three more changes between the sticks this weekend, Diego López and Pacheco returning for Espanyol and Alavés respectively after brief injury lay-offs, and Eibar’s Yoel coming on for Riesgo after he picked up a knock before the break in Sunday’s match at Sporting Gijón.
