It was great to see Sergio Asenjo back in action after another long injury lay-off, the Villarreal keeper taking over from Barbosa for Sunday’s match against Barcelona. The Catalans won 0-2 to stay five points clear at the top of the table, Ter Stegen clocking up his ninth clean sheet of the season to stay level at the head of the “Zamora” chart with Oblak, who also kept his goals against column to zero against Betis. Elsewhere there there clean sheets as well for Pacheco (Alavés), Rubén (Deportivo), Dmitrovic (Eibar), Guaita (Getafe), Bono (Girona), Roberto (Málaga) and Keylor Navas (Real Madrid), Madrid themselves putting five past Sevilla’s Sergio Rico, who was back in place of David Soria under Berizzo’s rotation policy.
