Ter Stegen and Oblak kept up their push for this season’s Zamora award, both clocking up clean sheets again this weekend. And elsewhere Cuéllar (Leganés), Herrerín (Athletic) and Pau López (Espanyol) also kept their goals against columns to zero. New coaches Montella (Sevilla) and Jémez (Las Palmas) decided on changes in their goals, Sergio Rico and Chichizola coming back in for David Soria and Raúl Lizoain, although neither really paid off, the Andalusians letting in five at home to city rivals Betis, and the Canary Islanders beaten 1-2 by Eibar. A switch as well for Getafe, Emi Martínez making his debut in place of Guaita, who is rumoured to be on his way to the Premier League (Crystal Palace, Watford?) in the next few days. (09.01.18)
